Tour description:

Herrankukkaro programme:
The unique conference and recreation centre Herrankukkaro ("Mama's Pocket") is at the heart of the archipelago and only around half an hour away from Turku by car. It was built around an old fishing village with its own distinctive charm. Once there, you will be greeted with a delicious welcome drink and shown around the village. You can look forward to a culinary experience after the tour when the lunch will be served in the style fitting of an old fishing village.
After lunch you will follow in the footsteps of old smugglers on a tour that combines boating and hiking. You can look forward to a brief coffee break on an open fire during the tour.
After the smugglers adventure tour, it is time for the next highlight of the day: an opportunity to enjoy the world's largest smoke sauna. The smoke sauna, with no chimney or flue pipe, is heated by a wood fired stove.  Before the sauna is ready for bathing, the flue gasses are released through ventilation flaps. The end result is a unique experience, smooth and soft moist heat that pampers your skin and soul.
Relaxed after your sauna, dinner will be served made from freshly sourced products and ingredients: fish, wild game, berries, mushrooms, homemade bread and other delicacies from the pristine, natural environment of Finland.

Naantali Spa Hotel:
You will spend the night in Naantali Spa Hotel. Situated in the coastal town of Naantali which has a picturesque old quarter featuring timber chalets. It is a popular travel destination. Naantali boasts a rich spa tradition being known even as far back as in the early 18th century for its invigorating water. It was at that time too that Viluluoto Spring was discovered with its water helping to alleviate the symptoms of a number of medical conditions. The subsequent development of the spa town of Naantali is attributed to this spring, where the first clay spa treatments were made available as long ago as in 1863. Naantali Hotel & Spa upholds this long-standing tradition even today, and offers various spa treatments for its visitors, who flock here from far and wide. Here you will have the opportunity to use the sauna and pool facilities free of charge and to enjoy the hearty breakfast buffet. During your stay you can opt to be thoroughly pampered and book some of the spa and beauty treatments for an additional charge.
