Cloudberry safari (in July)
On the Cloudberry Safari you will travel with the guidance of experienced cloudberry pickers on the river and on the swamps and feel the “cloudberry” fever. We start in Kittilä (Vanhatie 89), where we drink coffee, check the equipment and the cloudberry forecast. We have set in the autumn of 2017 on our swamps insect hotels in order to success in the cloudberry pollination. In addition, our drone will collect daily information about the cloudberry’s maturity. From Kittilä, we go by boat along the river boat 10 km to the cottage, which works as the base camp of the safari.
Magic of Tölt
One hour riding excursion. The Icelandic horses have five kinds of gait: walk, trot, gallop, pace and a special one called 'tölt'. 'Tölt' is a pleasant gait, where the rider sits as if in an armchair. This is something that must be experienced. No previous experience is required. Hot beverages and cookies are served during this excursion. Rider’s maximum weight 90-100 kg. Children minimum age 12 years, unless they have previous experience of riding treks.
Canoeing on Northern Lake
At first, get to know the lake shore, kayaks and canoes with a guide. Once we’ve practiced the handling of the kayak, we paddle along the beautiful northern lake and enjoy the spectacular scenery of nature. Please take spare warm clothing with you.
The Adventure begins at the rental of Activity Park, on the western side of fell Levi. You are dressed up with safety equipment (harness and helmet). SANTA'S ZIP LINE MARATHON: Heights of ziplines is 7 to 12 meters. - Minimum height is 150 cm and weight 45 kg. ADVENTURE COURSES: - Minimum height is 120 cm. - During the courses you get to taste a few fun ziplines up to 8 meters high. BASE JUMP: Minimum height is 150 cm.
Stand up paddling (SUP) is paddling on a big surf board, while standing on it. Whilst paddling, you can enjoy the beautiful sights of our summery fells in the horizon and you don’t have to worry about the cold weather, because you will be provided with neoprene clothing and safety west. We guide the beginners to this sport on the lakes near Levi centre and take the more experienced paddlers to the river Ounasjoki. We will teach all participants how to paddle.
Fishing on lake Rautusjärvi. Any fish caught we enjoy by the fire. Suitable for everyone.
In the bosom of the fells on Icelandic Horses
A four (4) hour’ Icelandic horse trek into beautiful Lappish Nature around Levi. The horses are small, cute and charming, yet strong, tough and sure-footed. No previous experience is required. Hot beverages and cookies are served during this excursion. Rider’s maximum weight 90-100 kg. Children minimum age 12 years, unless they have previous experience of riding treks.
Swing the paddles
A guided atmospheric paddle expedition surrounded by beautiful the nature of Levi. At first, we will get to know the kayaks with a guide, then we start our trip and canoeing along the northern rivers. We will also enjoy Lappish campfire coffee and special tapas. Please take spare warm clothing with you.
Traditional day in Finnish summer cabin in the wilderness
During this excursion, you will have the chance to experience first-hand the silence, beauty and importance of the Lappish nature. As well as learn some fascinating new wilderness skills! After a boat ride, we will spend a relaxing day at the wilderness cabin; fishing, picking seasonal berries or mushrooms, collecting fresh natural spring water, making a fire and lunch together. There is even the chance to take a refreshing dip in the lake!
Summer walk with the Elf in the yellow dress
You will get to know the secrets of Elves Hideaway with one cleaver elf. See the barns in the courtyard and smell the Lappish power herbs in the garden. In the Magical Forest, you will see the wonders of nature and find your way to the Hidden Huts.
Horse riding in the forest for one hour
The horses are waiting ready for you and after the safety instructions we start one hour trail riding trek on original Finnish horses. The pace is adjusted according to the abilities of the riders and the weather. The tour is ideal also for beginners. We try to arrange a separate group for advanced riders.
Pontoon ferry cruise
The pontoon ferry runs along lake Sirkkajärvi and lake Levijärvi and if the weather is good we take a break at the beach. At the beach, you can go swimming and enjoy the sauna. On the ferry, you can buy sweet crepes, sausages and coffee made on an open fire. You can also bring your own beverages. Warm clothing is recommended.
Biking in the beautiful Lappish scenery
Enjoy the beautiful Lappish scenery. Your guide will take you on a fat bike tour and tell you stories about Lapland and its people.
Disc golfing for beginners
Increasingly popular disc golf is a fun way to spend your summer day! It is an easy activity to do by yourself or in a larger group. On this excursion, you will learn the basic technique and get useful tips for disc golfing. You will also get to know the rules of this sport and learn more advance techniques for the more challenging tracks. Suitable for beginners and players that already have some experience.
Midnight sun photography safari
Take the best photographs of your Arctic holiday! Join us and discover the beauty and nature of Lapland under the unique light of the midnight sun. Our guide is Dr Juha Tolonen, internationally acclaimed landscape photographer, will take you on a photography adventure that takes you to places that you only see in photographs. Nikon cameras and tripods are included; or bring your own camera. We provide you with professional guidance and tips on landscape photography. Suitable for children over the age of 12 yrs.

In the Fathom of the national park, paddling in the Kindom of Gnomes - A whole day canoe safari for adults
Discover the magnificent and unforgettable mountain scenery in the area of gnomes and in one of our oldest national parks in Finland. You might enjoy viewing of animals both on the shore and in the water. We will have lunch and traditionally made coffee, pot coffee, by an open fire with a sweet bun. You can also refresh yourself in the lake if you feel like it!
Excursion to the husky farm
At the husky farm where we will be met by the cute Arctic Sled dogs that are enjoying their well-earned summer holiday! You will have a chance to get up close to the dogs and hear fascinating stories of their lives throughout the year, and how they love their work during the winter! Enjoy a peaceful break by the open fire in the traditional kota, and delicious sausage and cup of hot juice before returning to Levi by car.
Forage & fire
Collect your own food in the forests of the Arctic! Join us on a guided foraging tour and learn to identify edible foods, collect wild herbs, flowers, nettles, wild blueberries, lingonberries, juniper berries and many varieties of mushrooms. The path of our journey to Pallas-Ylläs National Park will be guided on what we can find in the forests and we share a meal cooked by the fire using locally sourced ingredients. Suitable for all ages.
Bake with the Elves
We will bake sweet pie and gingerbread with the elf in the Gingerbread House of the Hidden Huts.
Midnight sun canoe safari
Come to soak up the midnight sun whilst paddling slowly towards the fell Levi in the river Ounasjoki. An unforgettable experience for the travellers who enjoy peace and quietness. On the way there are no rapids, only a few strong currents. We stop for a break on a sandy beach, grill sausages and enjoy a cup of coffee. Night swimming in clean and fresh water is an experience in itself. Suitable for beginners.

Night hike to Pallasfell
Lapland Soul Hike. We hike along on a small trail to the beautiful and rugged Lommoltunturi (fell height 540m). At the top you can enjoy magnificent landscapes in all the directions. As the midnight sun shines over the Pallas fell range and Pallas lake, we enjoy our snacks, capture the moments on cameras, in our minds and listen to the silence. The hike is about 5km. The hike is suitable for normal fitness level, minimum age limit is 18 years.

Into foaming rapids on a car inner tube
THURSDAY - Welcome to an unforgettable experience: riding the clear Lappish river rapids on a car inner tube. The tube spins, the water splashes and laughing comes naturally. The guide is with you all the time. Wet suit, helmet, life-jacket, knee pads and flippers provided. Please bring your own swimming suit and towel! Children age limit: 10yrs old.
Hiking under the midnight sun
An enjoyable and relaxing hike in the night less night of Levi. This hike is suitable for everyone and will give you the chance to experience the phenomenon of the Midnight Sun which is visible only above the Arctic Circle. The excursion will take place between 21:30 - 00:30, and will include a snack made by the open fire and a toast to the Midnight Sun at Midnight. Don’t forget your sunglasses!
Day hike to Keimiöfell
Lapland Wilderness Hike. From the south of the Pallastunturi chain, the Keimiö fell (fell height 614m) offers a spectacular scenery to Jeris lake, Keimiö lake and the Pallas fell range. At the top, we enjoy the peaceful scenery and have our snacks. The climb to Keimiö fell is rocky and steep, about 10km total. The hike is suitable for normal fitness level, minimum age limit is 18 years.
Crazy about animals
During the guided tour, you will meet all the farms over 30 animals. Everyone gets to feed and pet reindeer and rabbits. Our animals are personal and sociable and live in an idyllic old barn and in the yard. The tour includes cart ride with pony, as well as coffee/juice and sweets in the traditional Lapp hut.
Traditional riverbank sauna
The traditional riverbank sauna by the river Ounasjoki can host up to 20 persons. In the 100 years old log sauna we offer a wonderful feeling with a temperature of +60 ºC degrees. After having the sauna bath you can almost feel like born-again.

Canoeing for pleasure lovers
Canoeing is a fun and easy way to traverse nature. The canoeing excursion takes us from Köngäs to Sirkka along the river Ounasjoki. There are no actual rapids, just a few strong flows of water. It is therefore also suitable for beginners. Before starting off, the guide teaches us how to handle the canoe. During the journey, we will take a break to enjoy sausages grilled over a campfire and coffee. It is also possible to go for a swim.

Speedy freeride biking at Levi Bike Park Park
Hit the freeride/ enduro tracks at Levi Bike Park which offers speed, challenges and great views to Lappish fells. The height difference is over 300 meters but the tracks are served by a cabin lift. Our guide will accompany you and the program is suitable also for beginners and children over 12 years of age. The participants under 18 years must present a permission signed by their parent. Please remember to take your own water bottle.
Wild food cooking workshop
Eat Arctic, eat wild! Join us for a workshop in preparing and cooking a 3-course meal with wild foods found in the beautiful and pure environment of Lapland. We cook with foraged foods that are in season and with special ingredients not found in supermarkets. Special dietary requirements can be easily accommodated, please let us know in advance. We can take you to our local kitchens, or alternatively, this activity can be undertaken in your own accommodation if booked as a group (min. 2 people).

Enjoy water jet driving in summery Levi admiring the fells from a different perspective! We drive in the river Ounasjoki or in the lakes near Levi, depending on the water height in the river. Driving is easy, much fun and safe. Drinks included. Driving license not required, minimum age limit is 15 years old. Needed equipment and driving instructions given before the start.

Scenic fat bike excursion
An enjoyable and relaxing biking trip in the beautiful nature of Levi Fell. This tour is suitable for everyone and will give you the chance to experience some of the prettiest spots of Levi. Drive together with your guide along peaceful roads and forest paths and hear stories of the local nature and life in Lapland. This excursion is suitable for children of 15 years and over.

Warmly welcome to our familiar horse and husky farm. During your visit, we´ll tell you about our beloved, kind and friendly family members and workmates Alaskan huskies, Siberian huskies, Alaskan malamutes, Greenland dogs and original Finn horses. We might even have some puppy dogs in the kennel that you can pet. You´ll hear about the history, training, manners of living, work and free time of our animals. We also enjoy some juice, sausage and stick buns by the open fire.
