From guesthouse to guesthouse by bike and canoe

1. Cycling and canoeing tour from guesthouse to guesthouse through the stunning landscapes of Northern Karelia
2. Enjoy amazing hill and lake views and unspoilt nature
3. Explore the Karelian countryside and sleep well in the different guesthouses along the way
4. Taste some Karelian delicacies
5. Relax in the gentle heat of a traditional Finnish sauna

Northern Karelia is the home of the Finnish national romanticism. The area is familiar and recognised by those who have read ‘Kalevala’, our national epic. The landscape is dominated by hills, which are gentle but large. Typical to Finland, there are many lakes here and there. The best way to enjoy both the hill and lake views is by both bicycle and canoe. The landscape looks and feels completely different each month. In June it is fresh green, the birds are singing and there is almost 24-hour light, in July it can be +30 degrees and there are a lot of flowers, in August the forests are full of berries and in September the autumn colours are at their best.
