Welcome to Lapland Kayaking tour to Finnish Lapland! Lake Kitka is one of our biggest Lakes in Lapland. Height of the lake is 240 meters above sea level. It has many small sandy fjords where we are going to explore and enjoy our picnic lunches. This lake has a crystal clear water and it is called The biggest pond in the Europe. Last year this unique Lake was nominated as the one of the Nature Pearls in Finland. In Lapland there are perfect possibilities to observe Northern Lights from the kayak in dark autumn nights. It is more than possible that we won´t meet anyone else during our trip, although it is very popular fishing lake because of it's rich fish stocks including vendace, trout, grayling and whitefish. Fishing in the evening after paddling is possible with a rental fishing equipment. There are few farms with reindeers on the shores and summer cottages of this Lake. Views to fells and wilderness are stunning. Air is fresh, water is refreshing cold and accommodation is not luxurious but nice, warm and tidy with all the amenities we will need. Our new sea kayaks are perfect for this unforgettable Lapland hut-to-hut kayaking trip.
