Finland has the biggest archipelago of the Nordic countries – so many islands, that you can’t count them, almost half a million summer cottages and over 3 million saunas. Do you want to experience the astonishing natural beauty and create some unforgettable memories next to the seashore and in the archipelago? Renting a cottage in the archipelago enables a relaxing holiday in the middle of spectacular nature. Accommodation in a rental cottage gives you a chance to enjoy the silence or spend a holiday with various activities - including fishing and boating.

Description:
Live comfortably in the holiday and fishing resort Ylöstalo by the sea. Rent your own private seaside cottage with access to the famous Archipelago fishing waters and make self-guided boating trips. You have a rental boat (1 day) and you are guided to use it safely. You can choose from calm sea routes or more open sea routes. Pikes are the most famous game fish in the area. The best season for pike in the sea area is in springtime (April -May) and in autumn (September -November). Main breeds of fish in the nearby open waters, in order of importance: Pike, pike-perch, perch, sea trout, whitefish.

Accommodation:
During your stay you are accommodated in private seaside cottage. The fully equipped cottages have two double rooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a wood heated private sauna on the first floor. There is also room for up to four people on the loft.

Getting there:
The island Särkisalo is located by Salo, which is situated about 60 km from Turku on the Southwest coast of Finland. Salo and Särkisalo is easily reached by car. Otherwise there are very regular bus services operating from Turku and Helsinki to Salo.
The most convenient way to reach Turku is by air. You can choose between SAS via Stockholm or Finnair via Helsinki. You can also take the ferry from Stockholm to Turku.
The best way to get to Helsinki is by air, and it is easily accessible, no matter where you will be travelling from. There are also various rental car companies to choose from at the airport. If you want to travel with your own car, you can reach Helsinki via ferry from Tallinn, Stockholm, Travemünde and Rostock.
